Alisha chuckled softly. “Juni, you take these things too seriously sometimes. Take a step back and look out into the city you are in… one of longevity. This is where the rhythm was extended. There’s so much here.”
Juniper sighed, her gaze drifting over the cityscape illuminated by the gentle glow from the vertical farms below. “Well, I need to know that the people I work with are on the same page as me, not out here walking the pubs downtown with his boys.”
Alisha reached over, touching her arm gently. “Juni.”
Juniper looked at her friend.
“This habitat was made for you, Juni. Just relax and go with it. Everyone is where they belong.”
“You sound like my father, Alisha,” Juniper teased, a small smile tugging at her lips.
