“Watch,” Sophia muttered, as Roma smoothly transitioned from his mysterious meeting near the statue. “He’s heading straight for the Peterson family - didn’t they represent the Delaney family?”

“That checks out,” Juniper said tightly, her fingers curling into her palm. “Let’s hope whatever that meeting was about isn’t related to Thursday.”

“Hard to believe in coincidences when it comes to Roma,” Daniel added, his voice low with concern. “He’s intentionally accelerating the depositions to unfairly influence and instill bias in the proceedings… I’ve seen this before”

They watched as he engaged Mr. and Mrs. Peterson, his proportions seeming to shift with each movement, tumbling between stances like a practiced dancer - one shoulder dropped lower than the other, his body seeming to loom over them. He had a way of tilting his chin and widening his eyes when they spoke, an expression that somehow managed to be both patronizing and engaging at once.
