She watched him go, her eyes tracing the lines of his broad shoulders until he was swallowed up by the darkness. The rain continued to fall, the droplets mingling like Gods tears of laughter.

“Tomorrow,” she thought, a small, hesitant smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. The fear of something un familiar.

With a final glance at the spot where Daniel had disappeared, Juniper turned and made her way inside, the weight of the future heavy as the sword she carried, but a glimmer of hope burning bright in her heart.
